Khlong Maha Sawat is a waterfront community that maintains its traditional way of life and still uses boat traffic. The villagers also rely mainly on farming. Orchards, orchid gardens, lotus farming, floating vegetable farming, etc., rely heavily on clean water from the Maha Sawat Canal.
